IBM OpenPages: Using Event Studio

Course Description

This IBM OpenPages: Using Event Studio course teaches IBM OpenPages GRC Platform report authors how to use IBM Cognos Event Studio to create agents that monitor OpenPages data to detect key business events. Utilizing video demonstrations, participants will learn how to model the agent in IBM Cognos Analytics Reporting, add OpenPages query items to the agent, create calculations and add them to the agent, define tasks, configure task execution rules, test and validate the agent, schedule the agent to run at specific dates and times, and use IBM Cognos Administration screens to review scheduled agents and run history. Participants that complete the course and pass a quiz will receive a course completion certificate.

This intermediate course is intended for those people who will create IBM OpenPages event agents using IBM Cognos Analytics 11.0 Event Studio.

Prerequisites

• IBM OpenPages: Introduction to Reporting (course code 1O271) or experience creating advanced OpenPages reports.
• IBM OpenPages: Create Standard Reports (course code 1O272) or experience creating advanced OpenPages reports.
• Experience using basic browser functionality.
